TWO-time champion Serena Williams raced into the last 16 at Wimbledon, claiming she is running into form just at the right time.

The American needed just 44 minutes to overwhelm Venezuela’s Milagros Sequera 6-1 6-0 and set up a fourth-round date with Slovakia’s Daniela Hantuchova.

“It was pretty good all round,” said Williams, insisting she is no longer bothered by the hamstring problem she carried into the tournament.

“My hamstring is a lot better and it is just all coming together,” she said.

“It is definitely a mental relief knowing I don’t have the pain I had before, I’m running and moving well.

“I’d give myself a six or a seven (out of 10) today. I played at a steady pace, peaking at the right times and playing the big points well.”

Hantuchova beat Williams at the 2006 Australian Open, and the American said she will not let her thoughts stray to a possible quarter-final with Justine Henin.

“I’m just focusing on my fourth-round match. I know it is going to be tough. She beat me before in a Grand Slam and she is serving well, moving well and she is really fit. It is going to be exciting.”
