SPAIN’S Carlos Moya won his fifth Croatia Open, beating fellow veteran, Romania’s Andrei Pavel, 6-4 6-2 in today’s (AEST).
Moya had the upper hand in the first set and Pavel saved seven set points before succumbing.
In the second, Moya took advantage of two breaks of serves to clinch the match.
“Honestly, when I arrived in Umag I did not believe I could make it again with so many good players, but I had a good week,” said Moya.
