Davenport to make singles return
Davenport will return to action playing doubles next month “I’ve enjoyed the tournament in the past and feel it’s the perfect place to begin playing singles again,” she said.Davenport, 31, who has won three Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal, quit the tour last year with back trouble and has since had her first child.She recently announced she will play doubles with Lisa Raymond in August.
