Ivanovic books semi-final place
Ivanovic wasted little time in disposing of Zvonareva in California Ivanovic, whose runner-up finish at the Australian Open propelled her to number two in the world rankings, took 66 minutes to complete a 6-1, 6-4 win. Despite her climb up the rankings, Ivanovic is seeking her first WTA title since Luxembourg last September. She will face either Jelena Jankovic and or Lindsay Davenport in the semis.Serbian Jankovic is seeded third and faces Davenport, 31, later on Thursday.
