RUSSIAN Svetlana Kuznetsova has ended Maria Sharapova’s 18 match winning streak in the semi-finals of the ATP and WTA Pacific Life Open at Indian Wells.

Second seeded Kuznetsova beat Australian open champion Sharapova 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 to reach the final for the second-straight year. 

She will play top seed Ana Ivanovic after the Croatian beat third-seeded compatriot Jelena Jankovic 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.
