606: DEBATE Murray can be anything he wants to be if he wants it bad enough Pereragem The decision to play in Barcelona was a surprise as Murray had indicated that he would rest after the defeat to Djokovic in Monte Carlo. The tournament will give Murray more time on clay ahead of next month’s French Open.Djokovic, also 20, recently told BBC’s Inside Sport that young British players are “spoiled” and don’t have the “hunger” to succeed, however he excluded Murray, who was developed outside the British system, from the criticism.Murray’s development included moving to Barcelona and the clay courts of the Sanchez-Casal Academy at the age of 14.”He has enough quality, enough talent, and enough potential to be a top-five player, and everybody expects him to do that,” Djokovic said of the man he beat 6-0 6-4.
